Do you want me to talk about the title? I dunno... dont think Im too crazy ehh 
Sometimes, when I have absolutely no clue what Im doing, I think of random words. Then, I pull up dictionary.com, and use their thesaurus a whole bunch. This is an example of that. I looked at Ryu there, and since this is a completely random tag I did for no other reason than to do it, figured a completely random title to go with would be fitting. At one point in time Im pretty sure my dA ID even warned against my abilities of random acts of, randomness
To me it looked as if he is defending something. Defender lead me to the word "sentinel" which I kind of envisioned using an S word in here anyways, so that was a nice find. Then somehow I had clicked on a word that also referred to individuality, which lead to the term "thumbprint." Which we can admit, leaving our print on the world is something that has been emphasized throughout the generations, and is now something striven for by pretty much everyone
He is a defender of individuality. Yay random'not'so'random'anymore things

It's "word association" meets "the creative spark." You know, if you reversed the process, you could brainstorm interesting names / titles and then draw whatever they inspire. You might create a memorable cast of characters that way.
