I really love the textures in the rainbow bands! And the radioactive trifoils as raindrops is a neat touch... sort of sad and scary, but in a safe, symbolic way that adds to the look of this piece instead of detracting from it. Love those faceted stars, too. I used to draw lots of stars like that when I was younger.
Lol, thanks Lizzy :P

Im glad its enjoyable. Im thinking about taking off the rain drops to be able to upload another version. Ehh, who knows.

While I was making the first main stars, the orange and yellow ones, I saw the radioactive symbol in the shapes, and thought to myself they would make neat rain drops if I could get it to work out. While I do like them, again, you give me too much creadit in the thinking department!! With me, it seems the ones I think about, are the ones that turn out to look not so great, and the ones that require little thinking on my part are the ones that turn out to be grand.

Thank you yet again!!

HaHa, you're welcome! Even with so many happy accidents, you still use your aesthetic sense and editorial judgment to decide what stays and what goes, so credit is given where it is due. I hear what you're saying, though, about letting instinct drive the creative process. Overthinking can ruin an artwork.
maybe..
but the rain is a good tuch [cause without rain, there would be no rainbows]

My problem is tending to over crowd an image.
Ill be the first to admit that I like busy images
