There is a lot to be said about a tree, even about its leaves. Tree's so often stand as a symbol for nature, or a symbol for life. Its still so easy to take them for granted though. Whether its their beauty, or their function in the world around us. Yet there they stand, an ever present reminder that nature is so very important!

This image, however thrown together it really was, is supposed to represent how nature should come before man made. Not some huge political statement, just that nature should be upheld for how beautiful and enduring it really is!

Maybe its the Hippie in me, but I think there really is something to be said in how a tree can stand alone and be so simplistic yet detailed and complex all at the same time!

This is beautiful! A tree is a wonderful thing and you're right about it's "simple complexity". It's also a wonderful example of a fractal. The branching symmetry and repetition is the fractal concept in a "nutshell", no pun intended. Great to see you back!!! You can post it on DV in the last Large Art competition. After 5 years we're going to quit with DV!!! Please join the last competition so we can say goodbye in a great way with all the people who made DV till what it was!!! A great place!!!

Tula! Great to hear from you, not so great to hear about the closing. I was reading the article Sen posted about the closing, and can really relate with the lack of time needed for it. It will always have its special place with me! :hug:
