Maritime Tones

Just some more messing around with Illustrator. Finally have an idea of how I can create some of the ideas I have. What you see in the BG was created pretty much on a whim, but it is what I want to focus on expanding as a style. Originally I started this image with the main curved lines by following a tutorial. After they were made I felt the image as a whole was too bland and could use some BG designs. Of course Im planning on creating a touched up version in PS, but anyone who knows me will point out that I get distracted easily
